Mengi Yay’s impressive 47.4-meter sailing yacht, Seleda, has officially entered the brokerage market for the first time since its delivery in 2021. Listed for sale by Bertrand Vogèle and Sebastiano Pitasi of Next Yachting, the luxury yacht is available for €11.5 million.
Built to RINA class specifications using cold-laminated wood, Seleda combines superior craftsmanship with cutting-edge design. The yacht’s exterior is the work of the Turkish shipyard itself, while Ginton Naval Architects provided the naval architecture. The sleek interiors were created by BTA Design. Since its launch, the yacht has had a single owner, who has described Seleda as the “perfect balance of luxury, performance, and indulgence.”
The yacht offers accommodation for 11 guests in five cabins, including a master suite with a private lounge and office, two VIP cabins, and two twin cabins. The crew quarters are equally spacious, providing accommodation for eight crew members across four cabins.
Inside, Seleda features a contemporary, open-plan design with dark wood flooring and a mix of curved and geometric lines in the furniture, wall panels, and artwork. The main saloon is expansive and light-filled, with an elongated sofa, a bar area, and a dining table that seats up to 10 guests.
On deck, Seleda boasts a large sundeck offering panoramic views. The sundeck is furnished with sun loungers and an L-shaped sofa, making it an ideal space for relaxation. The yacht’s foredeck includes an elevated sunpad, along with an al fresco dining area and tender storage. The aft deck provides additional outdoor dining options, sheltered by the sundeck’s overhang.
Seleda is powered by twin 671hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which enable her to reach a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. The yacht also features an impressive 990 square meters of sail area, enhancing its performance on the water.
