Ocean King has unveiled the second unit of its Doge 400 series, the 40.37-meter explorer yacht named Ocean Angel, which is now preparing to begin sea trials.
Formerly known as Doge 400/02, Ocean Angel was sold in November 2022 to experienced owners. The tri-deck yacht boasts naval architecture by InNave, exterior design by Design aLOT led by Alessandro Lottici, and interiors by Burdissocapponi Yachts & Design.
The interior design draws inspiration from the grand aesthetics of Classical and Renaissance architecture, seamlessly blending Eastern and Japanese influences through the use of framed wood elements and elegant wallpaper. Large windows flood the indoor-outdoor living spaces with natural light, enhancing the yacht’s spacious and airy atmosphere.
Ocean Angel accommodates up to 12 guests across five staterooms, including a main deck owner’s suite. Four additional staterooms are located on the lower deck. The yacht also houses accommodations for seven crew members in four separate cabins.
A standout feature of this explorer yacht is the expansive beach club, equipped with a sauna, hammam, and a fully fitted gym. This versatile space can convert into a technical area, featuring a built-in 1.2-ton telescopic crane designed to handle a 6.25-meter tender. Fold-down balconies offer easy access to the sea, creating a smooth connection between the yacht and its surroundings.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Ocean Angel delivers a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15 knots.
Following the completion of sea trials, Ocean Angel will be handed over to her owners and is expected to begin her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean.
