Damen Yachting has been honored with the prestigious Yacht Style Award 2025 in the Superyachts 60-80 meters category for its Amels 80. The award was presented during the SEA Yachting Conference, ahead of the Singapore Yachting Festival, which celebrates excellence in the Asian superyacht industry.
Marketing Manager Sarah Flavell accepted the award on behalf of Damen Yachting, expressing the company’s pride in receiving such recognition. “We are thrilled to accept this award for the Amels 80 in the 60-80 meter category here in Singapore,” Flavell said. “This region has become increasingly significant for us in recent years, and it is gratifying to see Amels receiving such recognition here. Since the introduction of the new 80-meter Amels Limited Editions in 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the industry’s and our clients’ responses to this groundbreaking next-generation design.”
The Amels 80 represents a harmonious blend of performance, sophistication, and lasting quality, created through a collaborative effort between renowned designers and skilled craftsmen. The yacht features the visionary exterior lines of Espen Øino, the refined interiors of Sinot Yacht Architecture, and Damen Yachting’s meticulous naval architecture. Built at Damen’s Dutch shipyard, it perfectly combines heritage and progressive design.
Scheduled for an official launch in May with delivery to its owner this summer, the Amels 80 is an impressive vessel with specifications including a length of 80 meters, a beam of 12.5 meters, 2,175 GT, a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, and accommodations for 14 guests and 20 crew members.
