Italian shipyard Baglietto has unveiled its latest creation, the 43.7-meter motor yacht Speedy Bear, a custom Fast44 model that showcases the design expertise of Francesco Paszkowski Design. The yacht’s interiors were crafted in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, adding a touch of elegance to this cutting-edge vessel.
The aluminum-hulled Speedy Bear follows in the footsteps of Baglietto’s fast yacht lineage, drawing inspiration from models like the 46-meter Lucky Me. The yacht is designed to offer both performance and luxury, combining speed with style for a truly unique maritime experience.
Accommodating up to 10 guests, Speedy Bear features five cabins, including a master suite located on the main deck, forward of the saloon. In addition, there are two VIP doubles and two convertible singles with additional berths, providing ample space for guests to enjoy their time on board. The yacht also boasts stern fold-down balconies, which extend the sunbathing area around the pool, while the garage door transforms into a swim platform, further enhancing the beach club area.
Powered by twin MTU engines, the yacht can cruise at a speed of 23 knots and achieve a top speed of 27 knots, ensuring a thrilling and fast-paced journey across the seas.
Baglietto’s Chief Commercial Officer, Fabio Ermetto, praised the Speedy Bear as a one-of-a-kind project, blending classic beauty with innovative design. He stated, “This is indeed a custom project that exudes classical beauty while also featuring innovative solutions. Speedy Bear reminds me of several historical and yet revolutionary vessels built by Baglietto – which marked the history of yachting – while also being a brand-new, one-of-a-kind project, faithful to Baglietto’s DNA.”
Based in La Spezia, Baglietto Spa is renowned for its expertise in crafting luxury yachts. The shipyard specializes in building new aluminum light alloy yachts ranging from 35 to 50 meters in length, as well as steel and light aluminum alloy displacement megayachts starting at 40 meters.
Speedy Bear is the latest addition to Baglietto’s illustrious portfolio, reaffirming the shipyard’s commitment to combining tradition with innovation in the world of luxury yachting.
