The 40.75-meter Bloemsma & van Breemen sailing yacht Valquest has officially entered the market, represented by Hemmo Bloemers and Joe Reid of Roccabella Yachts.
Delivered by the Dutch shipyard in 2009, this custom sloop showcases exceptional design, with naval architecture, exterior styling, and interior design by Dubois Naval Architects. Its sleek, aerodynamic profile is highlighted by a striking silver metallic hull, a low-profile wheelhouse, and meticulously finished decks.
Valquest recently underwent a comprehensive exterior refit in 2025 and has successfully completed her Lloyd’s 15-year survey. Equipped with Starlink connectivity and air conditioning throughout, the yacht is in prime condition and ready for cruising.
Designed for extended cruising, Valquest boasts ample fuel reserves and intelligent storage solutions. She features dual headstays, a roll-away boom, Reckmann furlers, captive winches, and Lewmar hydraulic winches, ensuring top-tier performance. Twin bow anchors enhance her anchoring flexibility, allowing for easy mooring in various destinations. A North 3Di sail package further elevates her sailing capabilities.
Inside, the yacht exudes timeless luxury with high-gloss mahogany interiors and crisp white leather accents. The split-level saloons seamlessly flow into one another, offering a spacious, light-filled environment perfect for both entertaining and relaxing.
Valquest accommodates up to nine guests across four lavish staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, two spacious doubles, and a twin stateroom with a Pullman berth, each with ensuite facilities.
Outdoor spaces on Valquest are designed for relaxation and luxury. The sheltered cockpit provides an ideal setting for open-air dining, while expansive sun loungers and a shaded foredeck offer perfect spots to unwind. Additionally, a Smuggler Marine 6.0 RIB tender is included, perfect for shore excursions and water activities.
Powered by a single Caterpillar C18 engine, Valquest cruises at 10 knots and can reach a top speed of 12 knots, combining both luxury and performance for the discerning sailor.
