Baglietto has recently introduced the Speedy Bear, a 44-meter planing superyacht designed for an owner with a deep appreciation for the brand’s storied legacy. Also known as the Baglietto FAST44, the yacht reflects the shipyard’s commitment to combining high-performance engineering with luxury.
The yacht, designed by renowned naval architect Francesco Paszkowski, features a sleek aluminum hull and is powered by two MTU 16V4000 engines. These engines enable Speedy Bear to reach a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, offering a range of 700 nautical miles, making it ideal for fast coastal voyages.
Speedy Bear can accommodate up to 12 guests across five lavish cabins, including a spacious full-beam master suite. The yacht also provides space for a seven-person crew, ensuring impeccable service and a seamless experience for guests. Notable amenities include a skylounge, a raised pilothouse, and an advanced anti-roll stabilization system that ensures a smooth ride both underway and at anchor.
Drawing design inspiration from Baglietto’s earlier model, M/Y RUSH, the Speedy Bear shares similar exterior and interior design features with the 42-meter superfast yacht. This launch is part of the shipyard’s broader strategy to introduce eight new yachts in 2025, further demonstrating Baglietto’s dedication to innovation and excellence in yacht building.
