Jeff Bezos’ superyacht, Koru, has made a stop in Mallorca before setting sail for Venice, where it will host the much-anticipated wedding between Bezos and Lauren Sánchez on June 24. The wedding, drawing global attention, is expected to be one of the year’s biggest events.
Valued at $500 million, Koru is a 138-meter sailing yacht with three towering 70-meter masts. Featuring a classic design, the yacht boasts expansive wooden decks, a deep blue aluminium hull, and elegant lines reminiscent of traditional schooners. Among its luxurious amenities are a large swimming pool on the aft deck, opulent cabins for 18 guests, and a 40-member crew. The yacht’s standout feature is a bespoke figurehead of Lauren Sánchez, carved as a goddess, adorning its prow.
Launched in the summer of 2023, Koru served as the backdrop for Bezos and Sánchez’s engagement during its inaugural voyage, which included stops in Mallorca, Ibiza, and the French Riviera. The yacht returns to the Mediterranean for the wedding, which is expected to attract a star-studded guest list, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, Barbra Streisand, Kim Kardashian, and members of the Trump family, including former President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner.
