Riviera, Australia’s premier luxury motor yacht builder, celebrated its largest and most impressive showcase to date at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, set against Queensland’s famously idyllic weather. The exhibition featured 12 stunning motor yachts ranging from 43 to 78 feet, including standout models from Riviera’s Motor Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, and SUV collections.
Highlighting the event were the world premieres of the versatile 4300 Sports Express and the iconic long-range 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II. These launches were met with overwhelming pride and enthusiasm from the Riviera team and their community.
Over 2,000 Riviera owners and enthusiasts from Australia and abroad gathered for a four-day celebration of exquisite craftsmanship and camaraderie within the Riviera family. “This was our largest-ever display at Sanctuary Cove, and the response was incredible,” said Riviera Owner Rodney Longhurst. “What made it truly special was welcoming our passionate Riviera family—owners and admirers alike—to experience our latest innovations.”
A standout feature was the exclusive Riviera owners lounge, offering a private bistro, champagne bar, and live entertainment, providing a luxurious retreat for owners to relax and socialize throughout the show.
Riviera’s dedication to enhancing the boating lifestyle was further demonstrated through the Festival of Boating, an extensive educational program featuring over 30 seminars and on-water workshops. Topics ranged from the ladies skippers’ program and offshore seamanship to mastering onboard systems, navigation, and power management. Led by Riviera experts, these sessions empowered owners with skills to enjoy their yachts safely and confidently.
Signature social events enriched the atmosphere, including Ladies Day, which brought together over 100 Riviera women for a Prosecco reception and Italian-inspired feast. Meanwhile, the Songs in the Key of Riv gala evenings attracted more than 500 owners across three nights, combining gourmet three-course dining with live entertainment, followed by a floating nightclub in the Riviera owners’ lounge.
Sanctuary Cove holds special significance as the only Australian boat show featuring a Riviera exhibit. Its close proximity to Riviera’s Gold Coast manufacturing facility also offers visitors the unique chance to tour the factory and meet the master craftsmen behind Riviera’s world-class yachts.
“Sanctuary Cove allowed our owners and admirers to experience firsthand the design and quality that define Riviera,” added Rodney Longhurst. “We were proud to welcome new members to the Riviera family during the show, including one dedicated owner purchasing their family’s eleventh Riviera yacht, scheduled for delivery in 2026.”
The 2025 exhibit not only celebrated the passion of the Riviera community but also underscored the company’s commitment to boating education and the luxury lifestyle enjoyed by its owners.
To honor the team behind this landmark showcase, Riviera hosted a special thank-you lunch at its manufacturing facility. Owner Rodney Longhurst and Manufacturing Director Kyle Davison expressed their gratitude for the dedication and hard work that made the Sanctuary Cove display and Festival of Boating a success.
