A new super yacht, set to surpass the size of the Titanic, is under construction and slated for completion in about four years. Named Ulyssia, this floating paradise promises to revolutionize the concept of both discovery and luxury living. With 133 opulent apartments, each designed to meet five-star hotel standards, Ulyssia offers an unparalleled experience on the high seas.
However, such extravagance comes at a steep price. The smallest one-bedroom, 1,184-square-foot apartments start at a hefty $10 million (£7.7 million). For those seeking even more luxury, the yacht offers a 10,258-square-foot property with six bedrooms, priced at a staggering $90 million. Beyond the purchase cost, owners will also need to cover additional expenses, including maintenance, fuel, and crew fees, which are expected to total at least £250,000 annually.
The yacht will boast a wide array of amenities, including a fully equipped medical center, a massive wine cellar, numerous dining options, and personal butlers for every resident. For entertainment, there will be a theatre, library, and several pools, alongside a grocery store stocked with locally sourced products.
Each residence can also be customized to meet individual tastes, offering a level of personalization typically found in private homes.
Ulyssia is the brainchild of Espen Øino, a renowned yacht designer known for creating ultra-luxurious vessels for the world’s wealthiest individuals. The yacht is owned by Swiss company Ulyssia Residence AG, and promises to offer its residents the ultimate in luxury and comfort on the open seas.
