ILIAD Catamarans has introduced its new e-Motion Hybrid technology across its entire model range, marking a significant leap forward in sustainable luxury cruising.
Available on the ILIAD 53F, 53S, 62, and 75 models, the optional e-Motion parallel hybrid system offers a major reduction in CO₂ emissions, fuel consumption, and engine hours, while enhancing efficiency and lowering long-term maintenance costs.
The advanced hybrid setup allows seamless switching between diesel and electric propulsion, supported by redundant systems for reliable operation, even in emergencies.
Each system includes diesel propulsion engines, electric motors, lithium-ion battery packs, inverters, a DC Bus, and a liquid cooling system. The integrated hybrid control panel, equipped with PMS software and LCD touchscreens, is Plug & Play and RINA-type approved for both recreational and commercial vessels.
A key feature of ILIAD’s hybrid-equipped catamarans is a large solar array that contributes to up to 30% fuel savings. In electric mode, the yachts cruise almost silently—reducing disruption to marine life and delivering a more peaceful onboard experience.
