Seaquell Sailing Yacht Goes to Auction Starting at €1M

by Alisa

The 32.9-meter sailing yacht Seaquell is set to be auctioned by Boathouse Auctions, with bidding opening on June 25th and a starting price of €1,000,000. This sale is conducted under a joint central agency agreement between Kevin Paul of Denison Yachting and Michael Bach of Ocean Independence.

Launched in 1992 and fully refitted in 2022, Seaquell has earned a reputation for impressive global cruising and meticulous upkeep under her current owners. Built by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand, she embodies the timeless elegance of the Alloy–Dubois design partnership.

Over the last twelve years, Seaquell has logged more than 50,000 nautical miles cruising diverse waters, including the Pacific, Caribbean, Baltic, and Black Sea. With a power range of up to 4,000 nautical miles, she is ideally suited for long ocean passages.

Seaquell combines sailing performance with comfort on deck. Her classic Dubois styling features a reverse transom, twin helm stations, and dual stairways. The 25-foot beam provides generous space on deck and inside, with a spacious cockpit, ample foredeck, and an elevated observation area forward of the helm, perfect for dining, relaxing, and entertaining while underway.

Inside, Seaquell offers a welcoming atmosphere tailored for extended voyages or private charters. The 360-degree skylounge, accessible from both the cockpit and main saloon, boasts panoramic views, plush seating, a dedicated wheelhouse, and a navigation station for serious passage planning.

Below deck, the bright, full-beam main salon has been recently refreshed by the owner and is outfitted with a comprehensive entertainment system. The yacht accommodates guests in three ensuite staterooms: a full-beam master suite with a steam shower, a queen VIP cabin to port, and a convertible twin/king guest cabin to starboard. An additional versatile Pullman nanny cabin can be used for extra sleeping or storage. Crew quarters forward house up to five crew members across two cabins.

Since her launch, Seaquell has benefited from continuous investment, highlighted by her recent 2022 refit. Earlier upgrades include a renovated galley and granite finishes renewed in 2013. Her well-organized engine room, situated aft and accessible via the guest corridor, underscores the attentive maintenance by her experienced owner.

Boathouse Auctions presents a unique opportunity for buyers to acquire a world-class sailing yacht with a proven global cruising record and exceptional craftsmanship.
