Benetti has successfully completed the slipway launch of Fortitude1, a 44-meter yacht and the largest fiberglass vessel in its Class 44M series, built at the Viareggio shipyard. Designed by Cassetta Yacht Designers, this yacht marks a repeat order from a loyal client.
The launch took place on the yard’s historic inclined slipway, showcasing Benetti’s commitment to traditional Italian shipbuilding techniques. Fortitude1 will now proceed to final outfitting, with delivery planned for summer 2025.

The yacht features expansive glazing throughout to flood the interior with natural light, complemented by elegant white marble flooring on the main deck. Key highlights include a panoramic sky lounge, a beach club, and a bespoke forward sunpad on the upper deck tailored to the owner’s preferences.
While preserving the signature proportions of the Class line, the exterior incorporates several owner-requested modifications. The interior emphasizes social spaces and seamless indoor-outdoor flow, especially in the main deck aft area designed for entertaining guests.
As with all Benetti fiberglass yachts under 500GT, Fortitude1 combines advanced technical expertise with bespoke solutions that cater to the individual owner’s needs. This project reaffirms Benetti’s strong capabilities in mid-sized yacht construction at its Viareggio facility.
Though specific technical details remain confidential, the design prioritizes optimized space and comfort within the 44-meter footprint. Sea trials are expected to commence in early 2025, following Benetti’s standard protocols for this series.
