The 115.1-metre Ahpo, a stunning superyacht built by Lürssen, has rejoined the brokerage market, now listed for sale at €340,000,000. The yacht is represented by Alex Busher of Edmiston, in collaboration with Moran Yacht & Ship, and is currently the most expensive superyacht on the market.
Originally delivered in 2021, Ahpo was sold as a new build by Moran Yacht & Ship to a repeat client of Lürssen, with the project initially codenamed Project Enzo in reference to the owner’s passion for Ferraris. Constructed in steel and aluminium at the German shipyard, the yacht was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2022.
Designed by Nuvolari Lenard, both the exterior and interior of Ahpo showcase the firm’s distinctive style. Notable features include the signature half-moon windows, inspired by the owner’s previous Lürssen yacht, and tapered decks. The yacht was last sold in May 2023 by Moran Yacht & Ship, reportedly setting a record as the largest brokerage deal in history.
Tawera’s design is a masterpiece, blending technical precision with aesthetic brilliance. Tanja Peters, the project manager for Lürssen, spoke of the extensive detailing involved, from a vast array of materials to intricate finishes in wood, stone, carpets, and wallpaper. “We have thousands of materials – so many different woods, GRP, paint, cable trays, and stones – it’s almost uncountable,” Peters remarked.
Onboard, Ahpo offers accommodation for 16 guests across eight staterooms, along with four staff cabins, suitable for pilots, bodyguards, or a nanny. The owner’s private duplex features an exceptional gym, while the expansive side decks on the sky lounge deck – measuring 100 metres – offer ample space for guests to stroll side-by-side in the fresh air, without leaving the yacht.
Health and wellness are central to the yacht’s design, with a nature-themed spa that includes a massage room, Himalayan salt sauna, and a Turkish-style Hammam finished in vibrant mosaics and ivory onyx. The yacht’s design is also infused with nature, as seen in the central staircase, which depicts an olive tree, and the grand dining room, which is inspired by water lilies.
Additional amenities include a spacious beach club with a sit-up bar and waterside lounge, a 12-seater cinema with a starlit ceiling, and a protected winter garden that can be enjoyed in all weather conditions.
Powered by twin MTU 20V 4,000hp engines, the 5,257GT superyacht features advanced systems such as heat recovery for the swimming pool, dynamic positioning, four Quantum fin stabilisers, and controllable-pitch propellers for optimal low-speed manoeuvring. The yacht requires a full-time crew of 36 and is supported by two custom 12-metre IC Yacht guest tenders, rescue tenders, and a commercially certified helipad capable of accommodating a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter.
Currently asking €340,000,000, Ahpo remains a symbol of luxury, innovation, and exceptional design in the superyacht world.
