The 40.9-meter motor yacht Renata, previously known as Kanga, has successfully completed her technical sea trials. The yacht is set to be delivered from Cerri Cantieri Navali’s (CCN) facility in Carrara, Italy, in June and will be available for charter shortly thereafter.
Renata marks a significant comeback, having been completely rebuilt after a devastating fire in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in 2018. The fire forced all 13 passengers—comprising nine guests and four crew members—to evacuate, with footage of the incident capturing severe damage to both the superstructure and interiors.
Now fully restored, Renata is ready for her upcoming charter season, beginning in July. According to central charter agency Touch Adriatic, the yacht’s owner is eager to secure bookings. The vessel boasts several impressive features, including an expansive sundeck equipped with a front-facing Jacuzzi, dining table, and bar. The beach club offers a sauna and swim platform, providing a perfect space for relaxation, while the main deck features a formal dining area that can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Accommodation on board includes an owner’s cabin, two double cabins, and two twin cabins with Pullman beds. The owner’s area is further enhanced by a private Jacuzzi, a saloon, and a stern deck. Additionally, the stern cabins can be transformed into a second suite based on the owner’s preferences. Crew quarters are also spacious, with accommodations for 11 crew members.
Renata also stands out for her impressive technical specifications, including a transatlantic range and a maximum speed of 12 knots. The yacht is equipped with an extensive array of water toys, including two Jet Skis, ensuring plenty of entertainment on the water.
With her complete rebuild and impressive features, Renata is poised to make a splash in the luxury charter market this summer.
