Organisers of the Thailand International Boat Show have confirmed that the fourth edition of the event will be held from 15–18 January 2026 at the Phuket Yacht Haven Marina. Situated in the northern part of Phuket, the marina is one of Southeast Asia’s leading superyacht hubs, providing the space required for the event’s expansion in the coming years.
David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events, the organisation behind the show, expressed enthusiasm about the venue choice: “We are thrilled to announce Phuket Yacht Haven Marina as the official location for the 2026 Thailand International Boat Show. This site aligns perfectly with our vision of positioning Thailand as not only a world-class destination but also a hub for the luxury maritime lifestyle in Asia.”
The Thailand International Boat Show has become a significant platform for promoting Thailand’s marine industry on a global scale. According to organisers, the event generates at least 1 billion baht annually for the country’s yachting sector.
Southeast Asia is increasingly being recognized as a major yachting destination, following in the footsteps of the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Thailand stands out due to its award-winning marinas, expansive marine infrastructure, renowned hospitality, and stunning cruising grounds in both the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
Benjamin Tabuteau, Vice President of the Thai Yachting Business Association, highlighted the growth in Thailand’s marine industry: “Yachting in Thailand is on the rise. From boat sales to berthing, maintenance, provisioning, and chartering, our marine industry is growing by approximately 10% each year. As more people discover the breathtaking beauty of destinations like Phuket, Krabi, Samui, and Pattaya, coupled with world-class marine infrastructure, we see significant potential for further growth in the coming years.”
The 2026 edition of the Thailand International Boat Show will showcase over 70 sail and motor yachts, expanded superyacht displays, marine technologies, water toys, and sustainable innovations. Additionally, luxury lifestyle elements, such as real estate, automotive brands, and fine dining, will be integrated into the event.
In conjunction with the show, the Thailand Yachting Conference will take place on 14 January 2026, bringing together industry leaders, government representatives, and experts to discuss emerging trends, regulations, and opportunities in the yachting sector.
Organisers anticipate strong international participation from both exhibitors and visitors, reinforcing Thailand’s year-round appeal as a premier destination for yachting, investment, and tourism.
